Behind every fantastic writer is a superb editor.
Whether it’s proofreading, copyediting, line editing, or technical editing:
- A magazine editor won’t rest until the next issue is printed—flawlessly.
- A technical manual, white paper, or report must present consistent and accurate content,
targeted to the intended audience. - Government agencies and departments require clear, coherent, and consistent regulatory
reports—a project or initiative may be on the line. - A publisher trusts a copyeditor to make sure their first edition (or fifth edition) textbook is
copyedited and proofread on schedule. - Educational companies insist that K-12 and postsecondary e-learning content is accurate.
- Investment firms are obligated to follow strict guidelines when communicating results or
market/fund commentaries to their shareholders. - A marketing team preparing a print or online ad campaign won’t (nay, can’t) accept anything
less than a spotless first impression. - News/new media organizations can’t afford content errors—period.
- An author’s first book should shine through impeccable grammar and outstanding formatting
—they deserve it. - A researcher is preparing an academic article for publication, and needs to follow
journal style to a T. - Non-English-speaking (ESL) authors write cutting-edge content, but a review of their
material may improve clarity and conciseness.
Whatever form your written word is presented in, hire a perfection-seeking
hidden accomplice to rid your writing of clumsiness, inelegance, and error.

Rates
My rates vary with the complexity and turnaround time of the project, but I strive to work within my clients’ budgets. The best way for me to provide an estimate is to review a sample of the work, along with the scope of editing/proofreading desired.
It may be a per-page, per-project, or per-hour rate that works best for you; hard-copy edits or electronic mark-up that you’re most comfortable with—all are welcome, for short- or long-term projects.
Feel free to contact me with your requirements.
